RECORD DONATION TO HOSPICE

Yesterday, last year's President Ric Newson, accompanied by Marion and Keith Bringes, presented Sir Michael's Hospice with a cheque for £1,383 raised through fund raising activities during his year. Monies came from the fines paid by members for misdemeanors committed on Ric's tour to Weston Super Mareand and from the Spoon Drive and Short Mat afternoons, so ably organised by Team Bringes. Oakley bowlers have now raised in excess of £16k for the Hospice and the 2025 total was the highest yet.
