After 25 enjoyable Dinners, at our previous venue, it was a brave call by the Committee for the Presentation Dinner to be held yesterday in the clubhouse at Malshanger. Brave it may have been but the decision was fully vindicated as members had a splendid evening in the club. Graham and his team provided us with a meal that was much appreciated by all present, as well as running for us our bar and throughout the evening we were entertained by our favourite vocalist Kate Aherne. President Diane proposed the toast to our Guests with County Secretary Hazel Marke, reponding with the Toast to the Club. Thanks to Hazel for substituting for County President Marion Bailey who withdrew through illness. Jamie Colman then amused us with a witty speech about bowls before he presented the trophies to the winners of the 2025 competitions. A grand raffle ended what was a very ejoyable evening. Our thanks go to the Social Committee and all who helped organise the event.
