JOHNS TROPHY DEBUT FOR SUE

The Club's congratulaions go to Sue Dixon who yesterday made her debut for Hampshire in the Johns Trophy, so becoming the 10th player from the Club to represent the County at that level. Sue travelled, as a reserve, to Burnham for the game against Buckinghamshire and, only on arrival, did she find that a player had withdrawn through illness and that she was required to play. With Hampshire having lost their first match to Kent it was essential that, if the County is to reach Leamington, Hampshire won the match, which they duly did, taking 16 of the 22 points on offer and with an aggregate score of 116 to 103.
