DI TAKES OVER

Oakley Bowling Club's AGM saw Immediate Past President Norman Frost install Diane Yarrall the Club's Ladies' Secretary, as our President for 2026 - the twelth time a lady has held this prestigious position. On a miserably wet evening nearly 50 members turned out for the installation and to hear the Officer's reports on the 2025 season and to consider three Committee proposals, all of which were approved.

2026 will see little change amongst the Officers and Committee though Sue Dixon returns as Ladies Captain - a position she held from 2015 to 2022. Welcomed onto the Committee were Paul Hammond, Peter Pearce and Richard Waters, before Diane closed the meeting by wishing the Club a successful 2026.
