Members celebrated Burns night twice this year. Thursday saw members taking part in the celebrations at Basingstoke College of Technology where the students provided us with a superb 6 course traditional dinner. Who will forget the memorable "Irn-Bru Sorbet Made with Girders’.
Next night we were at it again, this time having a Scottish themed evening at the Club with scottish music and quizzes to test our knowledge of Scotland. How could anyone be expected to know that Winston Churchill was the prime minister born on St Andrews Day?
Both events were well supported and thanks go our Social Committee for organising them
