The Club's Congratulations go to Alice Lovett who, as the Loddon Vale champion, today reached the national semi final of the Women's Champion of Champions event. Playing at the Dolphin Club in Poole she received a walk over in the last 16 game but in this afternoon's quarter final she won 21-10 against Olivia Moulton of the White Oak club in Kent. In tomorrow's semi final, Alice takes on Rebecca Willgress, who won the World Indoor Singles in 2013 at the very young age of 23 and who won the Champion of Champions in 2015. With the experienced Rebecca having been capped 33 times for England it is going to be a tough task for Alice but everyone in the Club will be rooting for her and wish her the best of luck.
