A THIRD AREA FINAL

Congratulations to Leigh Allen, Ashley Nethercliffe and Nick Hardy, who, having already qualified for the Area Final of the County Triples, tonight, assisted by Men's Captain Ric Newson booked a place in the Area Final of the Fours. Playing at home against Yateley, Oakley led 5-0 and 7-3 only to go behind dropping a five. Fortunately, this was the only blemish in an otherwise good evening with Yateley conceding the game after 14 ends with Oakley leading 23-8. Oakley will now play in the Area Final on Wednesday 4th August at a venue yet to be decided. The Club wishes the team well and we hope the maroon shorts will continue to bring them success!
