SPLENDID DAY FOR CLUB DRAWN TRIPLES

Today saw 33 members arrive at Malshanger eager to participate in the Club Drawn Triples where the players are seeded as leads, seconds and skips and then drawn into triples. Two leagues, one comprising 6 teams and one 5 played four games of 6 ends and both leagues were closely contested before the teams of Barbara Goodyear, David Ball and John Ryan and Mary Turnbull, Steve Devonish and Keith Bringes arrived in the Finals. It was a closely fought match with John Ryan's triple taking a 3-0 lead only for Mary, Steve and Keith to rally and win by 8 shots to 5.
