Congratulations to Jason Rogers (subbing for Leigh Allen), Ashley Nethercliffe and Nick Hardy who yesterday evening at Malshanger beat an Alton Social team skipped by Mark Fyfield to reach the Northern Area Final of the County Triples. Oakley led by 7-1 and 10-3 before a dropped 5 brought Social back into the game. However, after 16 ends, Oakley led 17-10 and, despite dropping a 4, emerged 17-15 winners. Oakley will play either Alton or Cove in the Area Final on 29th July.

A belated well done goes also to Nick Hardy and Leigh Allen who, on Saturday, were part of the highest winning rink as Hampshire beat Middlesex to reach the semi final of the Home Counties League's Leonard Denny Cup.
