JUNIOR TITLE FOR NICOLE

Oakley's congratulaions go to Nicole Rogers who, this weekend at Spalding !BC, lifted the EIBA National Ladies Under 25 Singles crown. Nicole travelled over from Potters, where, earlier in the week, we had watched her, for the first time on TV. Nicole was determined to go one better than last year when she finished runner up in the event. She made a sound start on Saturday winning both her games in straight sets and this morning, in the semi final, she beat Olivia Moulton, of White Oak, again in straight sets. This afternoon's final was against Rebecca Moorbey of St Neots, who had come through a tough group, also without losing a set, but it was Nicole who lifted the crown 2-0.
