CURRY AND QUIZ NIGHT

32 members and friends took part, yesterday in a Curry and Quiz Night held at "More of the Good Stuff" at Worting House. After the five rounds held before the meal, only a few points separated the six teams but the meal took its toll on most teams, and as the questions became more obscure, it was clear, with just the last and eighth round to go, that only one team would emerge as the "Brains of Basingstoke". So it proved. With a score of 58 out of 80 congratulations go Hazel, Jonathan, John, Lesley and Val. Thanks go also to our Men's Captain and the Social Committee for organising an enjoyable event.
