Oakley's congratulations go to Alice Lovett who, representing Loddon Vale, is the new Hampshire County Women's Indoor Singles Champion. Because of Coronavirus, there has been a six month gap since Alice won her semi final 21-20 and no one knew quite what to expect when yesterday, at Palmerston Indoor BC, Alice took on Banister Park's Lorraine Slater in the long awaited Final. Any fears that Alice might be rusty were, however, soon dispelled as she charged out of the blocks to record a 21-4 victory. Quite an achievement for a 16 year old who we believe to be the youngest ever champion. Well done.
