SO CLOSE FOR NICOLE

It was a good weekend for club member Nicole Rogers, as she represented Loddon Vale, in the final stages of the EIBA Under 25 Singles at the City of Ely Bowling Club. Victories over H Feice of St Neots and C Edwards of Whiteknights saw Nicole reach the national semi final where she came up against Katherine Rednall who had so impressed this week in winning the World Indoor Singles at Potters. Nicole had played Katherine in the quarter final in 2015, losing in two straight sets, but this time it was a much closer game with both players winning sets before Katherine won the game on the tie break.It was a great effort by Nicole She has time on her side.
