RECRUITMENT SUCCESS

Over the weekend we were blessed with good weather as the Club held its Open Weekend in conjunction with that of the Oakley Community Association. A great deal of effort went into preparing for this event with posters across our catchment area, articles in local magazines, items on Breeze radio and much use of social media. All this effort, and that of the members who were helping at the green throughout the weekend, proved very worthwhile as by Sunday evening 17 new members had signed up for membership with other prospective members indicating their intention to join out PlayBowls4Fun course beginning on 11th May. The Club's thanks go to everyone who contributed to making the weekend such a success.
