OAKLEY GUARANTEED THE NHWBA SINGLES WINNER

Today saw the semi-finals of the North Hants Women's BA Singles being played at Hook and, with two qualifiers hopes were high that the Club might have a finalist in this event. The day did not begin well with Camila Kingshott trailing 2-9 in her game against Fleet Social's Margaret Hankin but Camila came back well to win 21-12. The other semi-final between Janie Vickers and Anita Christian of Old Basing was, for most of the time too close to call, but with the scores tied at 16-16 Janie moved up a gear to ensure an all Oakley Final to be held at our green on the 4th September.
