Our greens team has worked tirelessly throughout the winter to ensure the green is in pristine condition for the new season and yesterday 23 volunteers worked throughout the morning putting the final touches to all that work. The green was scarified twice and mown, and the hedge was trimmed inside and out. The clubhouse was given a spring clean with everything washed, hoovered and the windows cleaned. A big smile was put on everybody’s face when Trevor Wearn was able to pay us a visit to ensure that his beloved green was being properly treated. There will be another session on Friday morning to cut the green, replace the ditch mats and set out the rink markers. It all looks great and will be ready for the opening Spoon Drive on Saturday 21 April at 3.00pm. The new Club shirts will be worn for the first time!
