Last week the Ladies took on Cove in the North Hants Women's Bowling Association's Gazette Cup and sadly as seems usual, Cove ran out winners. Two of our triples had tight games with that skipped by Alice Lovett leading with 2 ends to play but unfortunately the third triple, as we all do occasionally, had one of those nights,so Oakley bowed out. Oakley scores: Nicole Rogers, Heather Statham and Alice Lovett lost 15-16, Diane Yarrall, Mary Varndell ,Janie Vickers lost 11-19, Jo Holland, Sandra Lee, Val Ryan lost 11-32
