The annual President vs Vice President match is often the final outdoor game of the season but this season there wiil, weather permitting, be two more Yardstick evenings before the green is put to bed. The weather was not the best, but this did not deter members as they engaged in friendly but keen competition to see whether, as was for many years customary, the Vice President's team would come out on top. For a long time there was little in it but eventually, and for the second year running, it was the President's team that triumphed. Following the match, everyone moved over to the Malshanger Clubhouse where Martin and Norman had arranged and supplied drinks and food for everyone. The excellent buffet, the food having been provided by Graham, was much appreciated and following it came the normal toasts and speeches before everyone made their way home. Thanks go to Martin and Norman for their generosity and to all those who helped with catering and running the bar.
