COUNTY JUNIOR FINAL TO BE AN ALL OAKLEY EVENT

Congratulations to Heather Statham and Nicole Rogers who have both reached the Final of the County Women's Junior Singles. In previous years they have clashed in an earlier round but on Saturday, at Atherley, both won their semi-finals, Heather beating Daniella Betts of Cosham Park 21-6 and Nicole also having a comfortable 21-4 win over Jess Channel of Fleming Park. The County Final will be played in September but before then both girls will represent bowls Hampshire in the National Finals at Royal Leamington Spa. Sadly Ashley Nethercliffe will not be joining them as he went out in the semi-final of the Men's equivalent event.
