Although Father's Day will have had an impact on numbers, it was a diaspponting turnout for the Club Drawn Triples held on Sunday. Noneleless the 27 members who did participate had an enjoyable day and the weather stayed fine. The players were placed in three leagues with the winners of each league and the best runner up moving to the semi-final. Triples skipped by Janie Vickers, Stan Mond, Ted Trantum and Bob Goodyear reached the semi finals with the final being contested by Ian Rickman, Jim Dixon and Janie Vickers who played Mary Turnbull, Sue Dixon and Ted Trantum. It was the latter triple that emerged victorious. Afterwards Vice President Lesley Allard congratulated all who participated and thanked those involved in catering. She also thanked Competition Secretary Kay for organising the day so well.
