CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES BEGIN

The festive season began splendidly last night as more than 60 members and friends enjoyed Christmas Dinner at, for the Club, a new venue, the Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT). We were unsure what to expect, but BCOT and its students excelled themselves. The food was exemplary and the service outstanding. Indeed service was so quick that we had to bring forward the time of the coaches taking members back to the village. Our thanks go to BCOT for providing us with a memorable evening that seems to have been thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Thanks go also to President Norman, Lesley D and Janie Vickers for all their hard work in organising the event.
