BURNS NIGHT AT BCOT

31 Oakley Bowling Club members had a splendid evening at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT) celebrating Burns Night - even if we were a night early! For some it was their first time for haggis, neeps and tatties, but all enjoyed an excellent five course meal, laced sometimes with whisky, during which we were entertained by Ron Patterson, the Pipe Major of the Reading Scottish Pipe Band. The service from the College students was first class and already we are looking for another opportunity to visit BCOT.
